Elizabeth Romero is the Managing Director and Business Banking Central Southwest Region Executive at Bank of America. She leads a team that delivers strategic financial advice and integrated solutions to mid-sized companies across 12 states in the Central Southwest U.S. Her team includes Market Executives, Senior Relationship Managers, and Relationship Managers who help business owners achieve both business and personal goals. With over 31 years of banking experience, Elizabeth has held numerous leadership roles, including South Texas Area Executive, Houston Metro Region Sales Executive, Market Manager, and Market Integration Executive for Houston. She began her career at Bank of America in 1994 as a Personal Banker and Teller. Elizabeth earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from San Diego State University. She is actively involved in the Bank of America Hispanic Small Business Strategy, the International Women’s Leadership Council, and serves as an executive sponsor for the Hispanic Latino Executive Council (HLEC), the Diverse Leader Sponsorship Program (DLSP), and the Tucson Market. A California native, Elizabeth now resides in Houston, Texas with her husband and three children. She is a frequent volunteer in Houston and surrounding communities and has been recognized as a Latina Style 50 Awardee and a speaker at national leadership and business events.
